FAQ
Common questions
Does Tacet change anything on my Facebook account?
No. It only changes what is displayed in your browser tab. It never likes, follows, posts, messages or sends requests on your behalf.
What happens when Facebook changes its layout?
Detectors combine several signals and require confidence before hiding. If they stop recognising content, they show it rather than hide it, and the Diagnostics panel tells you an update may be needed.
Can I see what was hidden?
Yes. The popup shows a per-session summary, and every hidden item can be revealed or explained with a subtle "Why was this hidden?" control.
Is it free?
Version 1.0 is available at no cost. Any future paid features will be clearly described before you opt in.
